For manual use: (in a bucket or sink) dilute 2mls to every 1 litre of water. Soak produce for a minimum of 5 minutes. Drain solution. Rinse clean with water.
For use via wall mounted dispensing unit: (for trained personnel)
- Wear personal protection equipment.
- Prewash fruit and vegetable to remove soil. Drain.
- Using the safe shot dispenser, ensure hose is positioned in sink. De-press safe shot dispenser to required solution level.
- Test chlorine level with test strips.
- Ensure the concentration of chlorine is no less than 100 ppm.
- Soak produce for a minimum of 5 minutes, agitate periodically.
- Drain solution and wash produce under clean running water.
